OUR HISTORY

Cervera olive oil is a family business which dedicates itself to the export of extra virgin olive oil to maintain the good image of the product abroad.

The oil is mainly extracted from the Empeltre and Arbequina olive varieties and was created in 1998 with the very clear purpose to take advantage of the excellent quality of the olive from our region. By combining the most modern technology in the production of oils with the olives that grow in our traditional olive area, we can offer the best quality olive oils. In addition to our own olive plantations, more than 800 farmers in the area bring us their olive so that we can offer the best quality olive oil.

CERVERA

Our factory is located in the north of Spain, right in the heart of the Ebro Valley at the foot of the highest peak of the Iberian Moncayo Mountain Range, in the ancient Roman city of Cascantum in the Ribera de Navarra.

Already in the first Roman chronicles, the cultivation of the olive tree was mentioned. More recently, at the beginning of the 20th century, the Queiles Valley oils have been recognized with numerous awards for their outstanding quality. The climate of this region has contributed significantly to its cultivation, as well as the characteristics of its lands. To get an idea of the importance of olive cultivation in this area, in this period there were barely 3,000 inhabitants, yet there were up to 17 oil factories.
